Innovation Community

East 66th St & Euclid Avenue

A highly-collaborative, walkable and inclusive set of buildings located at East 66th Street & Euclid Avenue, this Innovation Community will further link the Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor’s anchor institutions and companies with the area residents and entrepreneurs. The master developer on this project is Wexford Science & Technology, a unique developer who only works on large scale innovation communities and has partnered with world class institutions across the country on 15 such projects over the last 20 years.

Cleveland Foundation HQ

East 66th St & Euclid Avenue

Located on the grounds of the historic Dunham Tavern Museum, this future site is envisioned as not only the new HQ of one of Cleveland’s oldest and most trusted community organizations, but as the hub of a new mixed-use “Innovation Community” between East 65th and East 66th St. The Cleveland Foundation's newfound proximity near the innovative companies and anchor inistutions of the HTC will promote an equitable, collaborative approach to development and technology that serves residents and employees alike.

This state-of-the-art, 60,000 square foot building was completed in 2017 and is another site offering world-class amenities and proximity to the many innovative companies located in the HTC. Its location and amenities make this space another hot spot for technology and health care companies in the region, with MCPc moving their Security Operations Center to the top floor of Link59 in 2018.

 

MidTown Tech Hive

The brainchild of tech non-profit DigitalC, the MidTown Tech Hive offers 14,000 square feet of both short and long-term open spaces/offices and a variety of amenities to a litany of businesses and individuals, including parking, conference rooms, dedicated desks, and more. The location also offers tech education and workforce training, helping to bridge the digital gap and creating a well-trained workforce in Cleveland.

A dynamic repurposing of The Margaet Ireland School at East 63rd Street & Chester Avenue, MAGNET's future HQ Site is a $10 million project that creates another highly collaborative and innovative space in the HTC. This future HQ will help expand and innovate the manufacturing industry in the HTC, with consulting and manufacturing expertise available for businesses, as well as train the next generation of highly-skilled workers though MAGNET's Early College Early Career Program, a partnership with The Cleveland Municipal School District.

 

Health Education Campus

A collaboration between Case Western Reserve University and The Cleveland Clinic, the 477,000 square foot Health Education Campus brings together students from CWRU's medical, nursing, dental and physician assistant students together in a educational space adjacent to The Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. This pairs CWRU's renowned medical and research prowess with the top-ranked care and opportunities that The Cleveland Clinic offers, which helps groom the next generation of medical professionals for the challenges of tomorrow.

MidTown Tech Park

This three-building campus offers more than 240,000 square feet of top class space for innovative companies and entrepeneurs looking to expand in the Health Tech Corridor. Amenities include free parking, high speed internet, showers, an exercise facility, and proximity to the RTA Healthline. Key tenants include The Cleveland Heart Lab, Chamberlain College of Nursing, and JumpStart Inc.

 

Baker Electric

Built in 1910, the Baker Electric Building is a historic electric car showroom repurposed for office and lab space in the HTC. Offering more than 52,00 square feet for emerging and local companies, this building's second life embodies the innovative spirit of the HTC and its entities.

The Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center offers 50,000 square feet of prime, state-of-the-art space with customizable laboratory facilities for new product research and development activities. Incubator also includes flexible office space and conference rooms.

Case Western Reserve University's Sears think[box] is an innovative space which bridges the gap between exciting new ideas and real-world practicality. This free public space offers makerspace for exciting new ventures and resources for entrepenuers, businesses, and non-profits alike, all housed in a seven story, 50,000 square foot facility.

Rainbow Babies Center for Women & Children

In July 2018 University Hospitals opened this new center for Women and Children to the MidTown and HTC area.

This 40,000 square foot, three-story hub offers traditional medical services as well as neighborhood support services such as nutrition education, legal services, and several group-care options in a cutting-edge approach to public health and neighborhood development in the HTC.

This bus-rapid transit (BRT) line runs through Euclid Avenue and connects University Circle to Downtown. The Healthline's $200+ million investment was one of the first developments in the revitilization of the HTC and has helped power more than $3 billion dollars in HTC development. This investment continues to pay dividends by allowing employees, students and residents easy access within the HTC and other neighborhoods in Cleveland.

A rehabilitation of a former office building designed by The H.L. Vokes Company, The Midtown Apartments offer 90 spacious luxury apartments, including 1-2 bedroom, studio and penthouse options. It boasts significant amenities such as an outdoor courtyard, off-street covered parking and great views of Lake Erie and Downtown. Its location in between University Circle and Downtown puts it near several of Cleveland's top attractions, while its proximity to the Healthline means luxurious urban living can be experienced in the midst of the HTC.

These spacious townhomes were completed in 2018 by Boston-based Vazza Real Estate Group. This means world-class medical care from University Hospitals and The Cleveland Clinic, as well as access to Downtown, University Circle, and cultural amenities such as The Cleveland Art Museum are mere minutes away on The Euclid Corridor.

This project from several local and Midwest developers is envisioned as the downtown of Cleveland's bustling University Circle Neighborhood. Plans include 800 apartment units, office space, 100,000 square feet of retail space, a hotel, and the new Martin Luther King Jr. branch of the Cleveland Public Library, replacing the current branch on Stokes Boulevard. Construction is projected to begin in March 2022.

As part of the Circle Square Project, Chicago-based White Oak Realty and other local partners are constructing a beautiful glass-lined, 24-story residential tower on the southeast corner of Stokes Boulevard and Chester Avenue. This residential tower will be comprised of 18 stories of residential market rate residential units, becoming an instantly recognizable fixture of the University Circle skyline.

Innovation Square is a strategic investment which will bring expanded housing, cultural and artistic opportunities, retail investment, and more in the Fairfax neighborhood. Spearheaded by The Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation, plans include over 200 mixed-income housing units, retail development, and greenspace which allows for more walkability and celebrates the neighborhood's rich cultural heritage.

Allen Estates

The brainchild of Cleveland-based Frontline Development Group, The Allen Estates are six houses which are envisioned as the first step in the continued development of the Hough neighborhood. Future plans include the construction of 15 homes,  46 Brownstones, and two mixed-use apartment buildings with retail space. Construction is set to begin in the near future.
