CWRU Breaks Ground on New Dental Clinic
CWRU broke ground on its new dental clinic on October 10th at East 97th St. and Chester Ave..  The university’s dental clinic provides care to the local community at affordable rates.  While the current location of the dental clinic on CWRU’s main campus is difficult for patients to access, the new clinic will be easily accessible by car or public transportation.  The 126,000 SF facility will provide treatment for 19,000 patients per year and allow for easy collaboration with the new Health Education Campus currently under construction across the street.
MedWish Opens New Headquarters in the Health-Tech Corridor
MedWish International has moved into its new home in the Health-Tech Corridor at E. 31st St and Payne Avenue.  The new space will allow MedWish to more efficiently store and ship donated medical supplies to people in need around the world.  Medwish’s new location in the middle of Cleveland’s major medical centers will help it effectively engage the local community and promote its mission of international medical outreach.
