Tell us about MCPc:
MCPc helps select and manage the devices you use to do business – from desktops and handhelds to any equipment that contains patient, customer or patent data. We provide 24/7/365 monitoring of your IT fleet for functionality and security. MCPc takes pride in our support of communities where we do business and our commitment to promoting education, sustainability and a diverse workforce.
How did MCPc get started?
Before founding MCPc Mike Trebilcock worked for an office supplies company called Dreher Business Products. During his time with Dreher, the PC rose to prominence and Mike’s customers started purchasing computers from him in increasingly larger volumes. As purchase volumes increased, his clients started to struggle with configuring and deploying computing devices within their offices. Mike developed services to deliver desk ready computers to clients and the idea for MCPc was born.
In 2002 MCPc became a standalone company focused on developing and integrating technology solutions for its customers. Since then, MCPc has tripled in size. The company’s rapid growth initiated the move to Cleveland’s MidTown in the heart of the Health Tech Corridor.
Why Cleveland? Why Health Tech Corridor?
What led MCPc to the MidTown was a need to expand. We loved the MidTown area for multiple reasons, but two specifically. The first reason is MCPc has always been a company committed to Cleveland, and we loved that MidTown is an up and coming neighborhood. MCPc is excited to contribute to the development and growth of the neighborhood by locating our Security Operations Center here. The second reason we chose MidTown is because of the area’s proximity to surrounding universities. There are four within a stones throw of the office!
MCPc’s commitment to education means we hire a lot of college students as interns and having multiple campuses within a few miles is a perk. Our location on Euclid Ave is intentional and means the RTA HealthTech bus line runs right through our front yard, making it easy for interns from the local universities to travel here.
“At MCPc, we are proud of our commitment to the communities where we do business. We believe organizations should act with civic responsibility; that’s why we actively promote the economic, social, and cultural growth of the neighborhoods where we do business community investment programs. We believe that our great successes in business gives us the ability to make a positive impact in promoting the welfare of others, their communities, and our city.
