Second Annual Medical Capital Innovation Competition to Take Place This April
Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Medical Capital Innovation Competition returns this April with cash awards totaling $100k and mentorship opportunities for winning participants.  This year’s theme is Disruptive Technologies: The Next Generation of Healthcare: How big data, artificial intelligence, enhanced reality and other disruptive technologies will engage patients and clinicians, and take healthcare to new levels.  Interested entrepreneurs and college students can apply here.
Cleveland State Dedicates Washkewicz College of Engineering Building
Cleveland State University dedicated Washkewicz hall in a special ceremony on December 15th.  The new building will house teaching and research laboratories, simulation labs for computer modeling, student collaboration spaces, smart classrooms, and the Dan T. Moore Makerspace.  In addition to the building’s dedication, Donald and Pamela Washkewicz announced a new $1 million gift for the Washkewicz Scholars Program which will fund full undergraduate scholarships for undergraduate students.
Midtown Tech Hive Nearing Completion, Now Reserving Spaces
The DigitalC MidTown Tech Hive is quickly nearing completion and is now accepting reservations for private offices and reserved desks.  The coworking space is scheduled to open in  late February/early March.  Find out more and reserve your space here.
