Hyr Medical Wins Health-Tech Corridor Pitch Night Competition
Nearly 200 people packed into the Agora ballroom to to see a couple of great speeches by Maciej Zawadzki and Jeff Hoffman and to see Hyr Medical come away with first place in the Health-Tech Corridor Pitch Night Competition.  Hyr Medical has developed a web-based marketplace to transparently connect doctors with part-time shift openings, replacing inefficient locum agencies.  Second place went to Reflexion Interactive Technologies, creator of a concussion detection device.  Third place went to Take 2 Mask, creator of a drug delivery mask for overdose victims.    .
Dealer Tire Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New HQ
Dealer Tire officially opened their new world headquarters at 7012 Euclid Ave with a ribbon cutting ceremony  on April 10th attended by Mayor Frank G. Jackson, County Executive Armond Budish, and other dignitaries.  The project included the redevelopment of the former Victory Center Building and construction of a new 650 car parking garage and green space.  The company is moving over 400 employees to the new facility with plans to add 100 more employees over the next three years.
Health-Tech Corridor Launches New Job Board
A new job board has been integrated into the Health-Tech Corridor website where employers can post new jobs for free.  The Health-Tech Corridor is one of the best places in the country (or the world) to find top-tier talent in health-tech and high-tech industries and the new job board is intended to help bring corridor employers and workers together.  With more than 75,000 medical and technical personnel and more than 50,000 students, the HTC is a great place for companies to find valuable additions to their team.
